My classes are suitable for all levels and abilities, with options being given throughout the practice so you can personalise to your needs. I always say the most important thing in yoga is to listen to your own body, knowing when you can push yourself further and when to ease back. There is so much more to yoga than just the asanas (physical practice) too, so there will be something that works for you wherever you are at. If you are totally new to yoga, or not quite sure where to start then why not get in touch so we can chat about what’s right for you?
Please arrive in plenty of time to settle in to the class before we start. You will need to bring your own yoga mat and any props you would like to use such as blocks or belts. It can also be lovely to bring a blanket in the colder months for a super cosy savasana. You may also wish to bring a bottle of water. Please wear comfortable clothing that you are able to move freely in, such as leggings, but be mindful not to wear anything with zips. We always practice yoga in bare feet. For aerial, you will also need to ensure you remove all jewellery as it can catch on the fabric. If you have booked on to a class, please complete the online health questionnaire before your first visit. It is also advised to not eat a big meal up to two hours before class. A fun, playful class suitable for beginners and experienced Yogi juniors! A mixture of calming, traditional Yoga, with exciting flips and tricks. Plenty of giggles, creativity and joy!
Explore zero compression inversions and a playful Yoga practice using aerial hammocks. Combining traditional Yoga postures with the support of the fabric, as well as some more creative tricks, Aerial Yoga has so many benefits for both mind and body. This class is suitable for all abilities, whether you are new to Aerial or a more experienced Yogi.
This class is for those who have previously attended all-levels Aerial classes and are looking to progress their practice a little further and give themselves an extra challenge. A much more dynamic, faster paced class, with single-leg Sun Salutations, sequences and plenty of flips and tricks! Please check with Nicky if it is appropriate for you to move onto this class prior to attending.
A slower, restorative style aerial yoga class. The fabric is used to support the body in the postures, allowing for a deep release and relaxation of muscles, joints and connective tissue. In contrast to our regular, more dynamic aerial yoga practice, postures are held for a few minutes, with the hammock height set closer to the mat. Including gentle variations of our favourite zero compression inversions. Finishing with a floating, dreamy Nidra meditation.
Cocooned in our beautiful silky hammocks, this dreamy, floating meditation takes you to a deeply healing space. Yoga Nidra translates as “Yogic Sleep”. Riding the wave between the conscious and unconscious, it is a state of complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. A profoundly restorative practice.

A slower, more gentle Aerial Yoga class, ideal for those who are new to Aerial, or for anyone in need of a more relaxing, restorative practice. Still exploring traditional Yoga poses with the support of the fabric, as well as some gentle inversions. Finishing with a dreamy extended floating meditation, cocooned in the beautiful silks. (This class runs on a pop up basis)
A more dynamic Aerial Yoga practice, exploring all of our favourite traditional poses, zero compression inversions as well as some more playful flips and tricks. Embrace your inner child and expect plenty of giggles! Suitable for all abilities, though you may wish to begin with the bedtime session first if you are newer to Yoga.

Focusing on the therapeutic benefits of yoga for body & mind, including elements of Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. Perfectly balancing our Yin & Yang energy and allowing for a deeper release.

Ever fancied giving Aerial a go? A perfect class as an Introduction to Aerial Yoga with plenty of options to progress as your confidence grows. Classes are small, giving you extra support and a personalised approach. We also take things a little slower, allowing you time to make friends with your fabric!
This class is suitable for all levels and abilities and is held in the low light of the cosy Suncliff Hotel Aerial Yoga studio. If you have any questions please get in touch before booking.

A gentle traditional evening yoga session by the sea. Classes are held on the beautiful seafront in Southbourne during the summer months, weather permitting! These are donation-based classes, with the option for Chai, chats & sea swims afterwards.
