Traditional training in the Himalaya Yoga Valley
In February 2020, I completed my 200hr teacher training with Himalaya Yoga Valley, one of the leading Yoga schools in India. It was one of the most incredible experiences. Utterly immersive and challenging in so many ways, yet amazingly fun, making some wonderful memories with my lovely Yogi friends. It was an honour to develop my depth of understanding of Yoga from its origins. Learning so much more beyond the physical practice, exploring the philosophy and spiritual side as well as Ayurveda and anatomy & physiology from an incredible teaching team. I certainly realised why I loved my practice so much!
My love for Aerial Yoga
Having always felt at home in the hammocks, and inspired by my wonderful teacher, I decided to complete my Aerial Yoga teacher training soon after I returned from India. I love the way the silks support a traditional Yoga practice, whilst bringing a playful energy, and knew this was something I wanted to be able to share with others. I love supporting new students with their first Aerial experience, as well as exploring new flips & tricks with my regulars.
Who are my classes for?
My classes are suitable for everyone. Perfect if you are new to yoga or getting back into it, as well as regular yogis. As a qualified personal trainer, I have an in-depth understanding of anatomy and the physical practice, and blend this seamlessly with the spiritual nature of Yoga. We live in such a busy, hectic world, and my aim is to bring a sense of calm into your day. I truly believe in progress, not perfection, and celebrating what our bodies can do. A practice from the heart, with compassion for ourselves.
Where am I based?
I am based on the beautiful South Coast of the UK, offering classes around Bournemouth and the New Forest. I also offer private one-to-one and small group classes, as well as workplace workshops.
